The Sixth Annual Edition of the Indian Retail & eRetail Congress 2017 held on 15th & 16th May at JW Marriott Hotel, New Delhi Aerocity, was a grand event. The two-day event was jointly organized by Retailer Media, Franchise India Media and Global Entrepreneur Media. In association with broadcast partner ET Now, the Indian Retail & eRetail Congress 2017 focused on how to build a seamless customer experience across online and physical store format, boosting sales and bottom line.
It brought together leaders of the retail organization groups and e-commerce businesses that are transforming the customer environments in 2017 both from India and overseas markets. It also witnessed 300-plus international and national industry business leaders, global leaders, brand owners, investors, e-commerce startups, digital payments business experts, consumer tech entrepreneurs, and the policymakers from the Centre. The event broadly highlighted four themes -- digital payments, 21st century consumer experience, the bigger and better e-commerce, and combining bricks & clicks.
The Congress also witnessed Annual Indian Retail & eRetail Awards 2017 which are considered to be one of the most prestigious awards that recognize excellence in Performance in Retail space. The award ceremony was aimed at felicitating people who have contributed towards the growth of Retail & eRetail Industry in India.
